COVID-19 caused tremendous impact on women’s economic stability globally. Women faced loss of jobs and financial insecurity more than anyone else. Yet even through the setbacks, we’ve seen innovation, power, and growth in ways we never thought possible. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation had a mission to bring awareness and change to women’s economic equity with this Goalkeepers foundation video. The goal was not to look back on the hardships brought about by a global pandemic, but look forward to the power women continue to step into.
