What do most college students love? Video games and pizza. So, when Old Dominion University needed to increase Computer Science majors and spark interest in coding, it only made sense to combine the two. We invited STEM-minded ODU students to build a virtual pizza with code for a free one in real life. Inspiring them to try coding, consider CS as a major, and win free pizza. Hundreds of pies were gone in a day, so you could say we cracked it.
